About my small online business

May 2008 when I started my small online wedding shop called Cole's Wedding Giveaways and Invitations and so far I am enjoying it. My first product was towel lollipop and a week after I posted a picture in my Multiply site, I had an inquiry for a christening. I thought I could make a deal out of the inquiry but I did not. Still I explored some more and added new products - like mini towel cakes and it was my original design of cake in a cup(image below) that inquiries started coming in and eventually my first sale. Encouraged and inspired with the feedback of

my customers, I experimented on some new designs like a hand towel wrapped with a lace and topped with styro strawberry called Lacy Cake , a Cake Roll in a box, or a muffin. Though my resources are limited, I make use of my innovative mind to utilise whatever materials available in our city. There are thousands of them, I just have to think of how to use them.

So far, I am gratified with what I am doing. I am happy though the work sometimes can eat my time and profit is not that much (my mark-up is not huge since I am still a newbie in the business) but knowing that your customer is happy with the product and service, that is enough consolation for me.
